Graphic Design Intern

Medical Consulting Group , a full-service ad agency that offers TV, radio, print, marketing materials, web development as well as business consulting, is looking for a student studying in the field of Graphic Design to serve as a paid intern or PT employee. Several interns from the UofA Business School have been hired in the past. The position offers a great learning opportunity for a design student in the field of Advertising and Marketing. We are located right off Dickson St. within walking distance of the University and are very flexible on hours.

We need someone that most of all enjoys people, has creativity, good design skills and wants to keep learning. We are a small office and work as a team - so no big egos. Preferred is a female designer because
with plastic surgery services we need female input during the creative process. The other characteristics would be organizational skills and an ability to follow through on tasks.

We’ll need competency in all or most of the following programs:

* Adobe Photoshop CS
* Adobe Illustrator CS
* Adobe InDesign CS
* Adobe GoLive
* Macromedia Flash
* Macromedia Dreamweaver
* Quark 5
* MS Word

While we are small and have a relaxed culture we do get to work with some of the brightest physicians in the U.S. and executive level management at some of the leading medical device companies. We’d like someone that can not only learn from what we are doing but have the ability to challenge us and bring new ideas to the table.
